The Parley Ocean School is one of the operations steered by N.Y.-based Parley for the Oceans. With chapters in over a dozen coastal nations, Parley is determined to eliminate the creation of new plastics, while cleaning rivers, coastlines and oceans of existing waste.

In South Africa, Parley have operation in Durban and Cape Town, with a strong local partnership with The Litterboom Project. Educating youth is an important part of Parley's vision to educate and nurture the next generation of ocean guardians, a commitment that was made real in 2017 when professional surfer Frank Solomon founded Sentinel Ocean Alliance.
