The role
Outerknown is looking for an experienced Temporary Office Receptionist. This role is part time and will last three to four months until November 2024. The Office Receptionist will be responsible for managing Outerknown's headquarters in Culver City as well as managing the front reception desk and taking on additional administrative duties. The Office Receptionist holds a critical role in keeping the OK office running efficiently, as well as being the first person everyone meets when they visit. This role will be reporting into the Chief of Staff.
Tasks
- Welcome visitors and monitor visitor access
- Manage and enforce OK HQ Office Policies, including COVID-19 policies
- Manage employee and visitor parking
- File, copy, and other clerical duties other as needed.
- Ensure reception/front desk area is clean and presentable.
- Answer incoming telephone calls and forward messages
- Order, receive, and maintain shipping supplies, office supplies, kitchen supplies, snacks, and beverages
- Coordinate scheduling of meeting rooms/areas and set up for meetings
- Set up for large meetings, new hire orientation, and company events
- Manage all office facilities including but not limited to printer, plumbing, cleaning crew, IT, alarm, pond company, plant company, delivery services, etc.
- Support New Hire Onboarding – including but not limited to laptop setup, welcome gifts, orientation day
- Maintain organization, cleanliness, and stocking of the Kitchen
- Support staff and the larger Outerknown team as needed
- Be assigned other duties as requested by supervisor
Requirements
- Comfortable with operating large vehicles, such as a large Sprinter Van.
- Minimum two years administrative, reception experience
- Able to lift 50 pounds.
Location
This position will be based in our corporate office in Culver City, CA and must be in office five days a week.
Pay
$25-35 dollars per hour
