Megabus are expanding their service in Michigan and across the Midwest. A new partnership with 85-year-old Miller Transportation will increase the bus operator's Michigan connections, linking Detroit's 1001 Howard Street bus stop with Albion, Ann Arbor, Battle Creek, Jackson, Kalamazoo, and Ypsilanti. Indianapolis, South Bend will have also been added - a total of 50 cities in the Midwest will benefit from additional connections.

Tickets are sold at megabus.com for journeys starting on January 25th. Based on megabus' website for a journey on February 13th, it costs $39.99 to go from Detroit to Kalamazoo and takes 3 hours 35 minutes. The same journey (with different terminals) takes 2 hours 47 minutes and costs $33 to complete via Amtrak, with Greyhound covering the 3.5hr journey from $20.
