Alabama have spent the past five years fulfilling a pledge to make the state easier to navigate for skill training and jobseeker. Since 2018, Alabamas's Talent Triad has built a partnership of 19 state agencies and workforce companies to develop a talent market system that's accessible to people, not just business. Components include:

  1. The Alabama Credential Registry makes education and training certificates easier to understand from a skill or competency requirements and what records are issued on completion.
  2. The Alabama Skills-Based Job Description Generator and Employer Portal helps employers write custom job descriptions that articulate around skills required.
  3. The Alabama College and Career Exploration Tool equips students with a learning and employment record (LER).

Alabama Works! serves as the hub for the ecosystem.
